Abstract

PURPOSE: To imcrease heat insulating effect of a sheet obtained by pressing a glass- wool mat with a small amount of a resin binder into a sheet, to which aluminum foils are bonded with an adhesive, by a synergistic action of prevention of heat conduction caused by a pressed glass-wool mat layer and thermal radiation brought about by aluminum foils.
CONSTITUTION: A resin binder in such a small amount as to not set glass-wool in a mat is added to the glass-wool mat with a thickness of 50W100 mm and the mat is pressed to form the glass wool mat layer 1. The aluminum foils 2 and 2 are bonded to the both sides of the mat layer 1 with an adhesive. The heat-insulating sheet of this invention is applicable to walls and roofs, and can be applied to all the corners of a narrow flat space of a cottage and a ceiling of a hip roof building.
