Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the response frequency of the liquid particle producer and improve the efficiency of the liquid particle production of driving pulses by providing liquid diodes between a liquid well and pump chambers. CONSTITUTION:Fluid diodes 17a which have no moving parts at all are formed between an ink well 12 and pump chambers 14. These liquid diodes 17a form nearly heart type barriers 19 within the channels 18 of nearly spade type, thus reducing the back flow of liquid. The formation of these type liquid diodes 17a between the ink well 12 and pump chambers 14 lets the producer exhibit good diode effect, enables its response frequency to improve up to about 10K Hz, completely eliminates the mutual interferences between the nozzles and enables piezoelectric elements 16 to operate even if the voltage of driving pulses is lowered and enhance the efficiency of particle productions.
