Abstract

1290108 Nozzles DAVY & UNITED ENG CO Ltd 12 Aug 1971 37878/71 Heading B2F [Also in Division B3] A nozzle comprises a tubular element 18 having internal partitions 32, 34 to break flow of liquid into small parallel streams, and a cap 20 adapted to overlie the inlet end of the tubular element and to direct flow thereinto. Members 18, 20 may be moulded in hard P.V.C. A plurality of nozzles are removably located in openings in the top and bottom of a header 12 sealed by elements 21, 22. Flow from the header passes between ribs 40, through passages 29 into the cap 20 which directs it into the element 18.
