PURPOSE:To reduce greatly the cost for the device as a whole by using the piezoelectric resonator for the resonator instead of the normal elastic surface wave resonator and thus omitting the distribution area for the surface wave resonator. CONSTITUTION:The lithium tantalate is used for piezoelectric substrate 3 for the Y axis cutting and the Z axis propagation, and the aluminum evaporation film of about 4000Angstrom is used for input/output electrode 2, 4 and 5 plus the electrode for piezoelectric resonator 9 each. These electrode 2, 4 and 5 are formed into 10 pairs of standard-type electrodes. And the electrode width is set to 5.6mum to secure the central frequency of 156M Hz, and the space between two electrodes is set to 1.7mm to secure the space 2M Hz for the comb-lined frequency each. Resonator 9 is formed into a circular form featuring the diameter of 75mum and designed to secure the high frequency of 150M Hz which is three times are high as the thickness shear oscillation. In this way, such characteristics as shown in the diagram is obtained, and the area of the substrate can be reduced down to about 1/2 since the distribution area for the surface wave resonator can be omitted. Thus, the production cost can be reduced greatly.
