PURPOSE:To reduce occurrence of the abnomal frequency phenomenon by forming the elemination part to the driving electrode of the piezoelectric oscillation bar and along the node line of the higher harmonic oscillation. CONSTITUTION:Elimination part 4 is formed to at least one of driving electrodes 2 and 3 formed on both surfaces of piezoelectric oscillation bar 1 and nearly along node line l of the higher harmonic oscillation. With formation of part 4, the additional mass of the basic oscillation decreases. Thus frequency fo of the basic oscillation increases more than that before formation of part 4, and accordingly the difference increases between frequency fo and the n-order higher harmonic oscillation. As a result, the abnormal phenomenon of the frequency can be reduced.
