Abstract
PURPOSE: To always ensure an accurate data writing by repeating the rewriting in the fixed times when the data writing is abnormal and also carrying out the error process whrn the normal writing is not secured.
CONSTITUTION: When the data is written into magnetic tape recorder 2 from cash register main body 1, the block data is transmitted following the counting data with retransmission counter 7 and retransmission/rereception counter 13 feature zero. Thus, the counting data is memorized in counting data memory 12, and the counting data are compared at comparator 14 between counter 7 and counter 13. As the value of the both counters are zero and identical to each other, the block data is written onto magnetic tape 18. In the case of the normal writing, affirmative signal ACK is delivered to clear counter 7 and 13. In case the writing is abnormal or no coincidence is obtained through comparison at comparator 14, negative signal NACK is delivered to count up counter 7 and 13 by one. Thus, the data is transmitted again from main body 1. And the error process is carried out when the retransmission frequency reaches the fixed level.
