Abstract
PURPOSE:To narrow the range of the high amplitude frequency components contributing to pulse formation and make designing of the amplifier amplifying charge pulses easy by letting the pulse width of phase retrieval pulses be several times the phase shift angle 2pi/n of 1 step. CONSTITUTION:Charge voltage is applied to a charging electrode 3 via amplifier AMP 2 based on the output pulses of a retrieval signal generator 8 at the phase retrieval and based on the output pulses of a charge signal generator 9 at the printing recording. At the charging phase detecting, a phase setting circuit 10 and a charging detecting circuit 11 are energized and the output pulses of the retrieval signal generator 9 are subsequently phase shifted by the phase setting circuit 10 until the charge detecting circuit 11 detects adequate charges. Making the pulse width of said output poulses to the wide pulse widths of several times of 2pi/n subsequently with respecto to the excitation signal b narrows the range of the high amplitude frequency components which contribute to pulse formation out of the total frequency components of the phase rtrieval pulses and facilitates designing of the amplifier.
