Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform stable operation of a device in a good response, in the ignition device having an advance characteristic in accordance with speed of an engine, by obtaining sample hold voltage at each rotary period without feedback correction.
CONSTITUTION: A reference signal P1 is output from a reference signal generator circuit 1 by pick up signals S1, S2, and a saw tooth wave R0 is fed to a sample hold circuit 4 from a saw tooth generator circuit 2 at rise up of the signal P1, then its peak value becomes a sample hold value Vs. While a saw tooth wave generator circuit 3 generates a saw tooth wave R1, having a fold in accordance with an advance characteristic, at rise up of the signal P1, and the R1 is compared with voltage Vs by a comparator 8 to become a reference signal P2, then a saw tooth wave R2 of the same slope as R0 is generated by a saw tooth generator circuit 9. Further output Vs-ΔV of an operation amplifier 11 and the R2 are compared by a comparator 14 to output a signal Q, and an ignition coil 16 is conducted by an ignition driver circuit 15. In this way, sample hold is performed at each rotary period, and an excellent response can be obtained.
