Abstract

PURPOSE: For keeping up the high heat conduction efficiency of a main cooler after the start of the crystallization of coagulating heat accumulating material, to provide a main cooler and a nucleation agent attached auxiliary cooler on the upper and lower layer portions respectively of said coagulating heat accumulating material.
CONSTITUTION: A main cooler 3 is provided on the upper layer portion of heat accumulating material 2 in a heat accumulating tank 1, and an auxiliary cooler 4 and a heater 12 on the lower layer portion. A nucleation agent 14 is attached in the vicinity of said auxiliary cooler 4. Said main and auxiliary coolers 3 and 4 are interconnected by a refrigerant piping 8 so as to constitute a closed circulating passage with the compressor 9 provided outside said heat accumulating tank 1, and with a radiator 5. Therefore, the becomes lower temperature distributed at said lower layer portion before the start of the coagulation of said heat accumulating material 2 in said heat accumulating tank 1 becomes lower than that distributed at the upper portion through the convection of said heat accumulating material 2 and is lowered furthur by said auxiciling cooler 4, and the crystallization of said heat accumulating material 2 is started with said lower portion by said nucleation agent 14. Even if said auxiliary cooler is surrounded by the crystal 2 of said heat accumulating material, said main cooler does not deteriorate in heat conduction efficiency while subject indirectly to coagulation heat due to the convection of said heat accumulating material 2.
