Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent raw vegetable from being dried while stored for a long time, by directly injecting cold air from a cooler into a cold storage chamber and a freezing chamber and conducting cold air for a vegetable chamber from the cooler along the outside of an inner box. CONSTITUTION:The cold storage chamber 3 is provided in the upper part of a refrigerator 1. The freezing chamber 2 and the vegetable chamber 4 are provided in the lower part of the refrigerator. A partition shelf 5 is provided between the cold storage chamber 3 and both the freezing chamber 2 and the vegetable chamber 4. The cooler 6 is placed in the partition sheft 5. To cool the freezing chamber 2, cold air is caused to circulate through the cooler 6, a blowoff port 12, the freezing chamber 2 and a suction port 13. To cool the cold storage chamber 3, cold air is caused to circulate through the cooler 6, a duct 14, a blowoff port 15 and the cold storage chamber 3. To cool the vegetable chamber 4 around 4 deg.C, cold air is caused to circulate through the cooler 6, a rear vertical passage 17 and a side passage 17b. Shifting plates 18, 19 may be provided at the top of the vertical passage 17a and the suction port to use the vegetable chamber 4 as a cold storage chamber.
