Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent wasting of energy and improve control accuracy by detecting solidification of liquid from cooling media temperature gradient.
CONSTITUTION: A thermometer 4, connected to an exit of a treatment tank 1 and a cooling media pipeline 3, is connected to a setting equipment 8 through a converter 5, a sample holder 6 and a calculator 7. In this mechanism, exit side temperature of a cooling media solidifying a liquid in the treatment tank 1 is detected by the thermometer 4, converted into a signal by the converter 5 and temporarily memorized by the sample holder, and then, it is put into the calculator 7 together with a present value for calculation of the temperature gradient, thus calculated temperature gradient is put into the setting equipment 8 and when the temperature gradient became within the set range, a signal indicating completion of solidification is put out. And therefore, even though the solidification time fluctuated by variation of liquid temperature, ambient temperature and cooling media temperature, exact time of solidification of the liquid is detected and thereby excessive energy consumption (or wasting) is prevented.
