Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable an electric pump to be utilized for large volume of liquid (water) by connecting a stator chamber and a rotor chamber so that the fluid pressure in these two chambers become equilibrated.
CONSTITUTION: A partitioning plate 9A is provided with a balancing hole 22 which is watertightly closed by a bellows 23. A stator 7 is tightly closed by the partitioning plate 9A, an outer cylinder 1, a partitioning plate 8 and an inner cylinder 10. And the inside of thus closed rotor chamber S is filled with an insulating liquid. When pressure of a liquid to be pumped rises, a little contraction of the bellows 23 delivers the liquid pressure to the insulating pressure so that the insulating liquid pressure and the liquid pressure become almost equilibrated. And since the inner cylinder 10 is in no case pressed by the high pressure against inner surface of the rotor steel core 6, inner surfaces of the partitioning plates 8 and 9A, and also inner surfaces of reinforced sleeves 11 and 12, the inner cylinder 10 is safe from being damaged.
