Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to prevent water leak into a tank surely by a method wherein a connecting part of a side wall and a bottom wall is separated by a waterstop wall and an artificial water non-permeable layer while leaked water is pumped up. CONSTITUTION:An artifical water non-permeable layer 6, contacting to the inner periphery of a waterstop wall 4, is adhered on the surface of an artificial water permeable layer 5 and the connecting part of a bottom wall 2 and a side wall 1 is confined as a closed area separated from the other part thereof by the layer 6 and the waterstop layer 4, further, a pumping equipment 7 is provided in that closed area. On the other hand, a pumping equipment 8, arriving at the artificial water permeable layer 5, is arranged to pump up leaked water in the connecting part between the bottom wall 2 and the side wall 1 and underground water below the bottom wall 2 by each pumping equipments 7, 8 respectively.
