Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a hot air blower as a dehumidifier which is simple construction, adaptive for low temperature high humidity cold district, with high dehumidifying effect and of energy- saving type by constructing the low temperature atmosphere as cooling dehumidifying cooling source and hot heat of a heater as reheating source.
CONSTITUTION: This hot air blower as a dehumidifier consists of a cooling humidity reducing heat exchanger 7 on the route of a suction tube 5 to introduce intaken air of low temperature from the tube 5 through the heat exchanger 7 into the combustion chamber 2 of a gas burner 2. On the other hand, the exchanger 7 is disposed at the upstream side of the exchanger 3 of indoor air blowing route to thermally exchange between the low temperature atomsphere and moistened indoor air to cool the indoor air by the atmosphere to simultaneously reduce the humidity of the indoor air. The dehumidified indoor air is introduced thereafter through the hot air blower exchanger 3 into the room instead of the heating dry air. On the other hand, low temperature atmosphere is slightly heated to be flown into the room 8 as combustion air of the burner 2 and then through the exchanger 3 together with the combustion heat of high temperature to be discharged into the atmosphere via an air intake fan 4 as combustion exhaust, as designated by 6.
