Abstract
PURPOSE: To separate a bearing housing into water feeding chambers and exhaust chambers, to feed water to the water seal packing via a projecting tube set up at the bottom surface, and to enable the lubricating of the bearing in the exhaust chamber at the trouble time of the water feed system at the same time with the exhausting of water to outside by means of connecting the exhaust chamber and the bearing part.
CONSTITUTION: A bearing housing 1 arranges bearings 6 in a center hole 5 of a body 2, and the outside of the body 2 is divided into a plurality of chambers 8, 9 to the circumferent direction by ribs 7, 7 ... of radial directions interposed by both flanges 3, 4, and these chambers are alternatively made to a water feeding chamber 8 and an exhaust chamber 9. A projecting pipe 11 is installed at the flange 4 which is a bottom surface of the water feeding chamber 8, and the other hand, flow holes 12 through which overflowed water within each exhaust chamber is passed, are formed, and long holes 13 connecting the bearing 6 and the exhaust chambers, are set up. Accordingly, foreign matters are precipitated in the water feeding chambers, thereby the bearing is lubricated by pure water, and the water is exhausted outside.
