Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an oscillation output which has the duty cycle of the output waveform controlled arbitrarily and is stable in the range from a low frequency up to a high frequency only by changing the capacity value of a capacitor, by charging and discharging the capacitor by a constant current and switching and operating respective constant-current circuits and settig the constant-current value to a proper value. CONSTITUTION:Transistor Tr19 has a diode connection where the collector and the base are connected to each other, and the base of Tr19 is connected to the base of Tr20, and the first constant current and the second constant current are flowed to the collector of Tr19 and the collector of Tr20 respectively. Then, the collector of Tr20 constitutes a differential amplifier for a pair of Tr21 and Tr22, and the base of Tr22 is biased for setting the threshold level and is connected to the base of Tr21 which becomes the input of the Schmitt circuit which is provided with positive feedback in a part of the bias circuit. Then, the collector of Tr25 is connected to the base of Tr19, and Tr25 is operated synchronously with the positive feedback circuit which is connected to the bias circuit so that Tr19 and Tr20 may be turned off when Tr25 is turned on, and a capacitor is connected between the base of Tr21 and the reference potential.
