Abstract

PURPOSE: To secure an assured alignment of the polarity in the same direction for the axial terminal type semiconductor device featuring the polarity in a continuous way without having any timing unlike the conventional way.
CONSTITUTION: Anode terminal A and cathode terminal K of diode 1 reached drum 3a are inserted to groove 4 at the outer circumference of the disk of both ends of the drum to give contact to measuring terminal 5. Thus, the polarity direction is measured and memorized. Push-out plate 16 pushes out element 1 onto shoot 18 via the operation signal based on the memory result. Plate 16 does not operate when the polarity is adverse, and thus push-out plate 17 operates instead of plate 16. Element 1 pushed out drops onto flat plate 22 and then aligned in the fixed direction due to the magnetic field formed between magnet 20 and 21.
