Abstract
PURPOSE:To maintain the drilling temperature at a specified temperature regardless of elapsed time from the material extraction to drilling, the heating furnace is controlled by corrections obtained from the difference between the actual drilling temperature and a specified drilling temperature and the elapsed time. CONSTITUTION:A temperature of a material A extracted from the furnace 1 is measured by the extracting thermometer 2, and a temperature immediately after drilling is measured by the drilling thermometer 4, which is referred to as the drilling temperature. Both of measured temperatures are inputted into the computer 5, which also imputted with the time between the material A is extracted from the furnace 1 and reached to the drilling machine 3. The computer 5 calculates such values to control the temperature of the furnace 1. Thus, the process maintains the drilling temperature of the material A at a specified temperature, effecting steel pipe scratch prevention, enhanced quality and yield through put.
