Abstract

PURPOSE: A specific resin is casted into a frame for making a forming mold that is made from materials with relatively good processability and a heat-resistant resin is coated on the surface of cavity of the resulting forming mold, thus producing inexpensively and rapidly plastic molds.
CONSTITUTION: Matrix 2 with the same shape as the objective molded porduct is made from materials that are relatively easy to be processed as wood or rubber. Then, the matrix 2 is fixed to base 3 and frame 4 with desired size is set to form a frame for making forming mold 15. After the inner surface of frame 15 is coated with a releasing agent, resin 6 containing 30W80 wt% of a metal powder is casted. After the resin is hardened by heating, base 3 and frame 4 are removed to form mold cavity 7 having desired space 8, which is fixed to metal plate 9. Matrix 2 is placed in space 8 and frame 4 is mounted and resin 6 is casted, thus forming mold cavity 10 after hardening the resin by heating. Finally, the parts of cavities 7, 10 cibtacting with matrix 2 is coated with a heat-resistant resin 11.
