Abstract

PURPOSE: To aim at improvement of fuel unit by introducing the exhaust gas from a high-temp. combustion heating furnace to a low-temp. heating furnace.
CONSTITUTION: This system is composed of a rotary bed type quenching furnace 1 and a tempering furnace 2 divided into two or more heating zones A, B, C and D. The temp. T1 of the zone A is, for ex., set at 560°C while the other zones T2 at 550°C, The exhaust gas from the quenching furnace 1 has, for ex. a temp. of 700W 1000°C and is introduced to the tempering furnace 2 through a line 3. The heating zone A is connected to the line 3 with a shut-off valve 4 under on-off control interposed while the other heating zones with flow control valves 5, 6, 7, possible to adjust openings, interposed. In the zone A, a thermosensor 8 is equipped to measure its atmosphere temperature, whose output is to be given to a temp. regulator 9, which actuates the load adjustment device 13 in accordance with the difference from the preset temp. and controls the quantity of fuel for the burner 19 with the aid of a flow control valve 12.
