Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the tape running of a tape cassette by using the liner sheet which has the slippery layer formed of the mixture of slip material, an abrasion resistance imparting agent and a specific binder. CONSTITUTION:The binder (A) composed of about 20 to 95wt% of the cellulosic resin(a) modified through esterification, etherification, nitration, etc. of a part of the hydroxyl groups contained and about 80 to 5wt% of thermoplastic polyurethance resin (b) of glass transition temperature 0 deg.C or under such as Nipporan 2304, 2320 (commercial products, made by Nippon Polyurethane), the slip material (B) of about 0.5 to 10mu in particle size such as graphite, carbon black or other and the abrasion resistance imparting agent (c) of Mohs'hardness 5 or over and about 0.05 to 5mu in particle size such as Cr2O3, SiC or other are blended at ratios of about 0.6 to 6 weight times of the component B based on the weight of the component A and about 0.002 to 0.05 weight times of the component C based on the weight of the component B, and this is coated on a resin sheet such as polyester sheet, whereby the slippery layer of about 1 to 20mu in thickness is formed to provide the liner sheet.
