Abstract
PURPOSE: To excellently keep self-aligning capacity, by preventing the twisting of a self-aligning bearing by making the rigidity of supporting portion material at the output side of a shaft less than the rigidity of supporting portion material at the anti-output side, in a bearing device of a rotary electric machine that uses the self- aligning bearing.
CONSTITUTION: With a frame 14, the bottom is located at the anti-output side, the left, and a self-aligning bearing 6B is mounted to a bearing supporting portion 15 formed to the central portion by means of a supporting metal fittings 9 through a flat spring 7 and oleo-felt. Meanwhile, an opening end portion of the frame 14 is located at the output side, the right, and an end bracket 16 is fastened to the opening end portion. The end bracket 16 is formed by pressing a steel plate, a flexible portion 17 and a bearing supporting portion 18 are mounted and a self- aligning bearing 6A is installed to the bearing supporting portion 18 through the flat spring 7 and the oleo-felt 8. Thus, when a shaft 3 is deflected by radial deflected load the desired target can be attained because the flexible portion 17 is elastically deformed following the shaft 3.
