Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce protrusion of cable suspension on a wall by clamping flat cables between a support member and a clamp member provided with a horizontally extended convex portion.
CONSTITUTION: One side of a flat cable 3 is in contact with one side, having a convex zone, of a support member 1 provided with the convex zone extending longitudinally in substantially the middle thereof and fixed to the wall, while the other side of the cable 3 is in contact with a clamp member 2 which consists of a metallic part having a concave groove 5 in substantially the middle thereof facing the cable, and both members are fastened to each other with clamping bolts 7A and 7B. The required quantity of the flat cables 3A, 3B, etc. laminated together in the direction of thickness are kept clamped between the convex zone 4 and the concave groove with a clamping force so as to be bent in the direction of thickness.
