Abstract
PURPOSE:To incline the feed shoot supported by an elastic plate in discharge direction i an angle equal to the slip angle of chips so that said chips may be stored and discharged, with the state thereof maintained, without generating fine particles. CONSTITUTION:The chips accumlated intertwined and locked together below a hopper gate 32 in the upper portion of a feeder shoot 21 are subject to the slantly vertical vibration of a motor-driven vibrator 41, gradually released from each other starting with the end portions thereof, and let flow while sliding on the inclined surface of said feeder shoot 21 onto discharge port side. For readily and continuously repeating this flow, the upper end of the opening of a hopper gate 32 and that of a vibrator cover 42 projecting into said hopper 13 are set in one horizontal plane.
