Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a dividable floating dock capable of self-docking, in which coupling of a central pontoon and end pontoons is improved so that it is enabled to dock the end pontoons into the central pontoon in self-docking them, with no aid of a tug boat.
CONSTITUTION: Central pontoon 12 is formed with cuts 12a, 12b at opposite lower end portions, and end pontoons 13, 14 are coupled respectively in the cuts 12a, 12b. These cuts 12a, 12b are constituted respectively by upper and lower continuous cuts 12a1, 12a2 and 12b1, 12b2 extending along the length of dock 11. End pontoons 13, 14, on the other hand, have a cross section in the form of a recessed shape, so that their side walls 13a, 13a' and 14a, 14a' can hold the opposite side walls 12c, 12d of the central pontoon 12. Further, arrangement is such that upper surfaces of recessed decks 13b, 14b respectively of the end pontoons 13, 14 are held in contact with surfaces 12ah, 12bh of lower cuts.
