NEW MATERIAL:s-Triazolo[4,3-b]pyridazine derivative of formula I (R1 is lower alkylthio, di-lower alkylamino, halogen; R2 is lower alkylthio, trifluoromethyl, lower alkyl, halogen, provided that when one of R1 and R2 is halogen, the other is lower alkylthio).
USE: Microbicide for plant blight, insecticide, and their intermediates. Effective to insects resistant to the conventional insecticides.
PROCESS: The compound I (wherein R1 and R2 are lower alkylthio) is prepared by, e.g. reacting 3,6-dihalo-s-triazolo[4,3-b]pyridazine II (hal is halogen) with an alkali metal salt of an alkylmercaptan in a solvent such as THF.
