Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate assembly and overhaul, to increase magnetic sucking force and to stabilize the operation of the opening of a brake, by forming a rotor and a sucking body in integral casting, and by inserting a body to be sucked into a stator while interposing a small void to an outer circumferential surface of the front portion.
CONSTITUTION: A rotor 3 is integrally formed by means of the die casting of an aluminium alloy with a disc 4 of a sucking body 6, to which circumference a magnetic piece 5 is buried, and cutting finished. A front portion of a cylindrical outer circumferential surface in a sucking body 7 is inserted into a rear inner circumferential surface of a stator 2 through a small void in order to strengthen the sucking force of the sucking body 6 when a friction disc 20 pressure contacts with a fixed brake carrier 10. When a void between the sucking body 6 and the body 7 to be sucked increases in size due to wear, etc., the void is adjusted by moving a rotor shaft 9 by turning a nut 51.
