Abstract
PURPOSE:To accelerate the heating effect by a heater by providing a variable blower discharge responsive to the temperature of coolant of an engine. CONSTITUTION:The coil 11b of an electromagnetic control relay 11 is connected at one end thereof to an ignition switch 12 and at the other to ground through a water temperature switch 15 closing at higher than special engine coolant temperature. Thus, when an ignition switch 12 is closed to start an engine, the coolant is circulated through a radiator 3 at flow rate set by a water flow control valve 6. While the coolant temperature is low, the switch 15 is opened to deenergize the coil 11b to thereby open the contact 11a to thus supply low voltage through a resistor 14 to a motor 10 to reduce the blower discharge so as to reduce the heat derived from the radiater 10 to thereby abruptly increase the coolant temperature. When the coolant temperature becomes higher than special temperature, the switch 15 is closed to close the contact 11a so as to short the resistor 14 to thus supply high voltage to the motor 10 to cause the motor 10 to rotate at high speed to increase the blower discharge so as to sufficiencly supply heat from the radiator 3 into an automotive room.
