Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a damping fluid chamber between a cooled-side fluid chamber and a cooling side fluid chamber for preventing such damages as crack from occurring at the boundary therebetween due to the thermal stress caused by temperature difference.
CONSTITUTION: When the water to be cooled is at low temperatures, cooling water flows in through the several small holes 13a of a middle partition plate 13 to fill a damping water chamber 3. when the temperature of said water to be cooled has come up to high values, said cooled-side high temperature water is supplied through the water supply adjusting valve 14 controlled by a damping water chamber temperature adjusting meter 15 and passed through said small holes 13a of said middle partition plate 13 while warming up the cooling water in said damping water chamber 3 to a target temperature to warm up the inside of said damping water chamber 3 while said cooling water is let free to said cooling water chamber 1 side. By thus supplying high-temperature water in said damping water chamber 3, temperature difference between upper and lower course sides and thermal stress are decreased, and the wide range cooling of said water to be cooled becomes possible.
