Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent leakage of untreated waste gas by directing the total amount of a waste gas from a waste gas source into a branch duct together with a portion of treated waste gas recirculated through a direct connection duct.
CONSTITUTION: A direct connection duct 3, which connects between a waste gas source and a discharge system 2 directly, is fitted the rein with a flange-like baffle 13. The duct between the source and a divergent point of the direct duct 3 and a branch duct 4 is fitted with a plate-like baffle 12 and a ridge-like rectifier structure 8. In normal operation, the waste gas from the source cannot flow directly through the duct 3 to the discharge system 2. The total amount of the waste gas from the source is directed into a branch duct 4 together with a portion of the treated waste gas recirculated through the direct duct 3. Thus the leak-in of untreated waste gas can be avoided.
