Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the number of parts of a rotation detector thereby to facilitate its assembly by supporting one side of a shaft on the detector body and by fitting and holding rotatably on the shaft a rotary member such as a belt pulley which is made rotatable together with a ring-shaped magnet.
CONSTITUTION: A shaft 22 is fitted in the center hole 21a on an outer frame 21 such that it takes a centilever condition. Then, a belt pulley 24, in which a ring- shaped magnet 23 is fitted on a plurality of elastic arms 27a, is fitted on the shaft 22 so that it is supported rotatably. An E ring 28 is fitted on the shaft 22 whereas the belt pulley 24 is similarly fitted. A print substrate 25 is attached to a fitting projection 21d and then is attached to the outer frame 21 by the thernal caulking. The magneto-electric converting element 29 placed thereon is arranged to face the outer circumference of the ring-shaped magnet 23 so that signals are generated in accordance with the rotations of the magnet 23 to detect the rotation and stop of the rotary element. Thus, it is possible to reduce the number of parts and to facilitate the assembly.
