Abstract
PURPOSE:Dust removers are installed at the catalyst inlet and outlet of the reactor, and the dust-removed catalyst discharged from the bottom of the reactor is again treated by the dust remover prior to being fed to the reactor to thereby completely remove dust for efficient operation. CONSTITUTION:For example, NOx containing gas is charged through the duct 14 into the reactor 1, and discharged through the duct 15. When removing NOx, dust- deposited catalyst 2 falls by gravity and flows through the expansion 13a into the lower vibrating feeder 3. The catalyst 2 is quantitatively extracted by the vibtation of the feeder 3, and discharged into the container 11 through the double dumper 9. Dust is separated by the screen 4 and exhausted out through the dust chute 7. The hoist 16 lifts the container 11, from which the catalyst is fed into the upper hopper 12. The catalyst 2 falls to the upper vibrating feeder 5, where residual dust is removed by the screen 6. The dust-removed catalyst is then supplied through the double dumper 10 into the reactor 1.
