Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve silencing effects, by providing exhaust gas with vortex flow by forming a vortex chamber between partition walls at both sides in an outer cylinder of a muffler for an autobicycle.
CONSTITUTION: A muffler 12 connected to an end portion of an exhaust pipe 14 consists of a front expansion chamber portion 18, an expansion compression chamber portion 20 of a center portion and a rear vortex chamber portion 22. The vortex chamber portion 22 is formed by a partition wall 24 at the front side, which is provided with an exhaust gas inlet 30 near the outer circumference, and a partition wall 26 at th rear side, which center portion is equipped with an exhaust gas outlet 32, and a spiral plate 28, onto which circumference a number of small holes 34 are drilled, is disposed to the inside.
