Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable meter driving to be performed even with minute signals by letting meter-driving transistors make class "B" operation.
CONSTITUTION: Since the minute signal supplied to input terminal 12 is applied with negative feedback via transistor Q3, feedback resistances R5, R6 from the output part of a differential amplifier circuit 11, it is differentially amplified by the gain of R5/R6 and is supplied to driving TrQ5, Q6 sides. On the other hand, there is a voltage of 3VF between the base of TrQ4 and the base of TrQ5 because level shift is being accomplished in diode D1 thru D3 parts and therefore there is a voltage for VF component between the emitter of TrQ4 and the emitter of Q5. This VF is a diode forward voltage. Hence, by making the values of the resistances R10, R11 equal, the bias of the approximately VF component is applied to the base of TrQ6 and therefore TrQ6 makes class "B" operation.
