Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the uneven brightness caused by the metal reflector film and thus to avoid lowering the brightness by coating the acrylic film formation solution which is the same kind as the 1st and 2nd film layers to these two layers with a fixed thickness.
CONSTITUTION: The 1st layer film 3a features the smooth surface of the film formed by the acrylic emulsion for the 2nd layer to be coated later since the acrylic resin is filled between film 3a and fluorescent element 2. The brightness on the fluorescent screent becomes maximum when the film thickness is 0.15mg/cm3 and then reduces with thickness of under 0.4mg/cm3 due to the decomposition residue after baking caused by the much amount of the resin. Thus, the thickness of 0.05W 0.3mg/cm3 is optimum to increase the brightness effect. When the thickness of film 3a is set constant at 0.15mg/cm3, the optimum thicknes of 2nd layer film 4a is 0.3W0.8 mg/cm3. As a result, the uniform brightness can be secured for the fluorescent screen.
