Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain high quality reproduction signal and prevent the decrease in S/N by providing a cleaner piece in the running path of magnetic recording media and eliminating the decrease in recording signals such as by magnetic powder dregs, etc. CONSTITUTION:A shaft 3 is provided turnably by way of a bearing 4 to a substrate 1 having an arc form oblong hole 2 and a cleaner piece 7 is mounted to the cleaner piece holding base 5 which is fixed to the upper part of said shaft by using a screw 6. The dust and magnetic dregs or the like having deposited on a tape T are removed by the ridge part of said piece. A turning arm 9 is fixed to the lower part of the shaft 3 by using a screw 8 and a pin 10 is vertically studded to the central part thereof. Further a knob 11 is screwed to the free end part of the arm 9 and when this knob 11 is moved along the oblong hole 2, the turning arm 9 turns with the shaft 3 as fulcrum.
