Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent overwork of a boiler by operating a circulation pump through the detection of the difference between the water temperature at the top of a collector and that at the lower portion of a reservoir tank and by operating the boiler through the detection of the water temperature at the upper portion of the tank.
CONSTITUTION: A sensor a at the top of a collector 3 and a senser D at the lower portion of a reservoir tank 1 detect water temperatures in situation, and a circulation pump 2 is operated when the water temperature detected by the sensor a is higher than that detected by the sensor D. A sensor C is located at the depth h3 from the water surface in the tank 1, and a boiler 4 is stopped when the temperature detected by the sensor C has reached a set point. By t is constitution, all the water in the tank 1 is introduced into the collector in the daytime to enhance solar energy utilization, and is heated by the boiler 4 in the evening when solar energy cannot be utilized.
