Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A lightning arresting element 7 and an porcelain tube are solidly sintered in such a manner as to be surrounded by the porcelain tube. The element is a non-linear restance body by sintering material mainly made of zinc oxide (ZnO). Due to the sintering the sintered element is reduced to about 80 percent straight. A inorganic insulator identical thereto in the reduction rate and the baking temperature can be produced with relative ease. Accordingly, solid baking of the porcelain tube is possible centered on the lightning arresting element.
