Abstract

PURPOSE: To accomplish complete protection against surge from the feed circuit of the relay amplifier by connecting the circuit with a constant current given to the base as a collector current for an emitter-grounded transistor TR adapted to maintain the collector current at a constant level.
CONSTITUTION: From a power separation filter 2, a high frequency signal enters a filter 2' via an output terminal 3, a relay amplifier 6 and a terminal 3'. From an output terminal 5 plus a feed terminal 7, the relay amplifier 6 and a feed terminal 8, a DC current power reaches a collector 13 of a emitter grounded transistor 12 to a surge protection device 11 and then, enters the filter 2' through an input terminal 15. A constant voltage diode 17 of a constant current feeder 14 maintains the base potential of the transistor 16 while the collector current, namely, the base current of the transistor 12, hence, the collector current thereof, at a constant level.
