CONSTITUTION: Photosensitive drum 1 is charged with charger 2, imagewise exposed from original 4 with exposure optical system 3 to form a static latent image, this image is developed with a 2 component type developer by magnetic brush developing device 5, the developed image is transferred onto recording paper 8 from recording cassette 7, the transferred image is fixed with fixing device 10, and drum 1 is cleaned with cleaner 11. When the same static latent image is repeatedly used to form copies, the toner mixing ratio of the 2 component type developer is regulated to that of 6W15%. This permits attenuation of static charge on drum 1 to be prevented, thus the desired purpose to be attained.
