Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to effectively recover sensible heat by forming slag into spherical granules of molten or semi-molten state after which the granules are transferred with holding the shape in a smooth and continuous manner and heat exchanged with a proper heat medium when the surface temp. of the granules is decreased to the nonfusion temp. or below.
