Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.横方向の熱流を制限するに充分な小さな区分を有する形状記憶合金(SM A)シートを備えた分布型活性化手段において、この分布型アクチュエータアレ ーは、 a)上記シートに配置され、シートの隣接部分を局部的に加熱するための1つ 以上のヒータ素子であって、上記隣接部分が、そのスレッシュホールド温度へと 活性化されたときに、所定の形状をとるようにさせるヒータ素子と、 b)上記シートと上記1つ以上のヒータ素子との間に配置され、各々のヒータ 素子を上記シートから電気的に絶縁するための電気絶縁体と、 c)上記1つ以上のヒータ素子に電流を選択的に通過させ、それにより得られ る局部的加熱によりシートが所望の形状をとるようにさせる制御手段と、 を備えたことを特徴とする分布型活性化手段。 2.上記二次元シートの局部的なそり状態を指示するために上記二次元シート に取り付けられた複数の歪曲センサを更に備えた請求項1に記載の分布型活性化 手段。 3.上記制御手段は、上記歪曲センサに接続され、上記二次元シートの局部的 なそり状態が上記制御手段に通信されて、上記制御手段が上記合成形状を計算す るようにした請求項2に記載の分布型活性化手段。 4.上記制御手段は、更に、位置マッピングすると共に上記合成形状及び上記 ヒータ素子の上記組合せを記憶するための形状メモリ手段を備えた請求項3に記 載の分布型活性化手段。 5.上記歪曲センサは、角度的な歪曲センサ、伸びの歪曲センサ及び曲げセン サより成るグループから選択される請求項4に記載の分布型活性化手段。 6.上記シートの温度を測定するために上記シートに取り付けられた熱センサ を更に備えた請求項1に記載の分布型活性化手段。 7.上記SMAシートは、製造の前に躾けられる請求項1に記載の分布型活性 化手段。 8.上記形状記憶合金は、TiNi合金及びCuZnAl合金より成るグルー プから選択される請求項1に記載の分布型活性化手段。 9.上記隣接部分に蓄積する熱を放出するために上記二次元シートに付着され た基板層を更に備えている請求項1に記載の分布型活性化手段。 10.上記隣接部分がとる上記所定の形状は、予め躾けられた形状である請求項 7に記載の分布型活性化手段。 11.上記隣接部分がとる上記所定の形状は、中間形状である請求項7に記載の 分布型活性化手段。 12.上記基板層は、ペルチェ素子、冷却フィン及び水チャンネルより成るグル ープから選択された冷却手段を含む請求項7に記載の分布型活性化手段。 13.SMAより成る二次元シートのための分布型活性化手段において、上記二 次元シートは、横方向の熱流を制限するに充分な小さな区分を有し、そして電気 絶縁体であり、上記分布型活性化手段は、 a)上記二次元シートに配置され、そして上記二次元シートの隣接部分に指定 されて、その隣接部分を局部的に加熱し、その隣接部分が所定の形状をとるよう にする少なくとも1つのヒータ素子と、 b)上記ヒータ素子の組合体に電流を選択的に通過させ、上記組合体に属する 上記ヒータ素子の各々が上記隣接部分を加熱し、そして上記隣接部分が上記所定 の形状をとり、これにより、上記二次元シートが合成形状をとるようにする制御 手段と、 を備えたことを特徴とする分布型活性化手段。 14.上記SMAは、予め躾けられる請求項13に記載の分布型活性化手段。 15.上記隣接部分がとる上記所定の形状は、予め躾けられた形状である請求項 13に記載の分布型活性化手段。 16.上記隣接部分がとる上記所定の形状は、中間形状である請求項13に記載の 分布型活性化手段。 17.上記ヒータ素子及び上記SMAは、躾けされない請求項13に記載の分布型 活性化手段。 18.上記ヒータ素子は、VLSI及びマイクロ加工より成るグループから選択 された技術で形成される請求項13に記載の分布型活性化手段。 19.上記制御手段は、電流発生器と、上記ヒータ素子の上記組合体を選択する ための制御ユニットとを含む請求項13に記載の分布型活性化手段。 20.上記二次元シートの局部的なそり状態を指示するために上記二次元シート に取り付けられた複数の歪曲センサを更に備えた請求項13に記載の分布型活性化 手段。 21.上記二次元シートに付着された被覆層を更に含む請求項13に記載の分布型 活性化手段。 22.上記隣接部分に蓄積する熱を放出するために上記二次元シートに付着され た基板層を更に含む請求項13に記載の分布型活性化手段。 23.上記二次元シートの温度を測定するために上記二次元シートに取り付けら れた熱センサを更に含む請求項13に記載の分布型活性化手段。 24.上記制御手段は、上記歪曲センサに接続され、上記二次元シートの局部的 なそり状態が上記制御手段に通信されて、上記制御手段が上記合成形状を計算す るようにした請求項20に記載の分布型活性化手段。 25.上記歪曲センサは、角度的な歪曲センサ、伸びの歪曲センサ及び曲げセン サより成るグループから選択される請求項20に記載の分布型活性化手段。 26.上記制御手段は、更に、位置マッピングすると共に上記合成形状及び上記 ヒータ素子の上記組合体を記憶するための形状メモリ手段を備えた請求項24に記 載の分布型活性化手段。 27.上記基板層は、ペルチェ素子、冷却フィン及び水チャンネルより成るグル ープから選択された冷却手段を含む請求項26に記載の分布型活性化手段。 28.SMAより成る二次元シートを選択的に活性化する方法であって、上記二 次元シートは、横方向の熱流を制限するに充分な小さな区分を有し、そして導電 性であり、上記方法は、 a)上記二次元シートに少なくとも1つのヒータ素子を配置し、これらヒータ 素子の各々が上記二次元シートの隣接部分に指定されて、その隣接部分を局部的 に加熱し、上記隣接部分が所定の形状をとるようにし、 b)上記二次元シートを上記ヒータ素子の各々から電気的に絶縁し、 c)上記ヒータ素子の各々とその指定の隣接部分との間に熱伝導路を設け、そ して d)上記ヒータ素子の組合体に電流を通流して、その組合体に属する上記ヒー タ素子の各々が上記隣接部分を加熱すると共に、上記隣接部分が上記所定の形状 をとり、これにより、上記二次元シートが合成形状をとるようにする、 という段階を備えたことを特徴とする方法。 29.予め躾けられた形状をとるように上記SMAを予め躾ける段階を更に含む 請求項28に記載の方法。 30.上記予め躾ける段階は、上記二次元シートを組み立てる前に行う請求項28 に記載の方法。 31.上記予め躾ける段階は、上記二次元シートを組み立てた後に行う請求項28 に記載の方法。 32.多数の上記二次元シートを組み合わせて、三次元構造体を形成する段階を 更に備えた請求項28に記載の方法。 33.多数の上記二次元シートを組み合わせて、三次元構造体を形成する段階を 更に備えた請求項28に記載の方法。
