- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.ある刺激に対して応答性を有する体内組織に当該刺激を与える刺激器、当該 刺激に対する体内組織の反応を検知するための検知器、検知された上記体内組織 の反応を被測定物質の濃度と相関づけるための相関計、および相関計によって相 関づけられたところに従って当該被測定物質の濃度を指示するための指示計を含 有することを特徴とする装置。 2.上記被測定物質が生理的被測定物質である請求項1記載の装置。 3.上記被測定物質が非生理的被測定物質である請求項1記載の装置。 4.上記刺激器が上記刺激をある第一の体内組織に与え、上記検知器がある第二 の体内組織の上記刺激への反応を検知する請求項1記載の装置。 5.上記刺激器が上記刺激をある第一の体内組織に与え、上記検知器が当該第一 の体内組織の上記刺激への反応を検知する請求項1記載の装置。 6.上記被刺激体内組織または上記被検知体内組織への血流を一時的に阻止する ための閉塞機構を更に追加で含む請求項1記載の装置。 7.上記被測定物質の濃度を表示するための出力装置を更に追加で含む請求項1 記載の装置。 8.上記出力装置が視覚表示装置からなる請求項7記載の装置。 9.上記出力装置が上記被測定物質の濃度を指示するための音響による表示を出 すスピーカーからなる請求項7記載の装置。 10.上記刺激がある電気的刺激であり、上記刺激器が電気的パルスを上記被刺激 体内組織に与えるための一組の電極からなる請求項1記載の装置。 11.上記電気的パルスが電流パルスである請求項10記載の装置。 12.上記電気的パルスが電圧パルスである請求項10記載の装置。 13.上記刺激電極の組が上記第一の被刺激体内組織に近接して配置するのに 適している請求項10記載の装置。 14.上記刺激電極の組が一個のカフに格納されている請求項13記載の装置。 15.上記刺激器が上記カフ内に温度感知器を更に含む請求項14記載の装置。 16.上記体内組織の上記刺激への応答が電気的応答信号であって、上記検知器が 当該電気的応答信号に応答性の電極からなる請求項13記載の装置。 17.上記検知器が上記応答性体内組織の第二の部位に近接して配置するのに適し ている請求項16記載の装置。 18.ある体内組織を刺激で刺激し、上記刺激に対する上記体内組織の反応を検知 し、上記反応をある被測定物質の濃度に相関づけ、上記相関に応じて上記被測定 物質の濃度を指示する手順を含む被測定物質の濃度の決定方法。 19.上記刺激手順が第一の体内組織を上記の刺激で刺激する手順を含み、上記検 知手順が第二の体内組織の上記刺激に対する応答を検知する手順を含む請求項1 8記載の方法。 20.上記刺激手順が第一の体内組織を上記の刺激で刺激する手順を含み、上記検 知手順が上記第一の体内組織の上記刺激に対する応答を検知する手順を含む請求 項18記載の方法。 21.上記被測定物質が生理的被測定物質である請求項18記載の方法。 22.上記被測定物質が非生理的被測定物質である請求項18記載の方法。 23.上記被刺激体内組織を一時的に閉塞させ、上記被刺激組織または上記体内組 織への血流を阻止する手順を更に追加で含む請求項18記載の方法。 24.上記被測定物質の濃度を視覚による方法で表示する手順を含む請求項18記 載の方法。 25.上記被測定物質の濃度を聴覚による方法で指示する手順を含む請求項18記 載の方法。 26.上記被測定物質の濃度を遠隔地へ伝送する手順を含む請求項18記載の 方法。 27.上記被測定物質の濃度を記憶装置へ保存する手順を含む請求項18記載の方 法。 28.上記刺激、検知、並びに相関づけの手順を繰返して上記濃度についての複数 の指示値を求め、かつ当該被測定物質の濃度の当該複数指示値を処理する手順を 追加で含む請求項18記載の方法。 29.上記刺激、検知、ならびに相関づけの手順を上記刺激の強度を変えて繰り返 すことにより、その大きさが最大応答強度のある所定の割合である応答を上記被 検知体内組織に喚起せしめる刺激の強度を決定して上記刺激の強さを選定する手 順をさらに含む請求項18記載の方法。 30.上記最大応答強度の所定の割合が50パーセントである請求項29記載の方 法。 31.使用者の体内組織に所定の強度の刺激を所定の持続時間加えるための少なく とも2個の刺激電極と、ある電気的応答信号をもたらすための上記電気刺激への 当該体内組織の電気的応答を検知するための検知用電極、および上記電気的刺激 の強度と持続時間を制御しかつ上記応答信号を当該使用者の体内のある被測定物 質の濃度に相関づけるための制御器を含むことを特徴とし、当該使用者の体内の 上記被測定物質の濃度を決定するための装置。 32.上記被測定物質が生理的被測定物質である請求項31記載の装置。 33.上記被測定物質がグルコースである請求項32記載の装置。 34.上記被測定物質が非生理的被測定物質である請求項31記載の装置。 35.少なくとも2個の上記の刺激電極が上記電気的刺激を第一の体内組織に加え 、上記検知用電極が第二の体内組織からの上記電気的応答を検知する請求項31 記載の装置。 36.上記の少なくとも2個の刺激電極が上記電気的刺激を第一の体内組織に 加え、上記検知用電極が上記第一の体内組織からの上記電気的応答を検知するこ とを特徴とする請求項31記載の装置。 37.上記検知用電極が複数の検知用電極からなる請求項31記載の装置。 38.上記被刺激体内組織または上記被検知体内組織への血流を阻止するための閉 塞機構を更にさらに含む請求項31記載の装置。 39.上記被刺激体内組織が神経であり、当該神経組織が通っている上記使用者の 指に装着するのに適したカフに少なくとも上記2個の刺激電極が格納されている 請求項31記載の装置。 40.上記閉塞機構を提供するため、かつ少なくとも2個の上記刺激電極を上記の 指に密着せしめるため上記カフが加圧されるに適したものである請求項39記載 の装置。 41.少なくとも1個の上記検知用電極が上記のカフに格納されている請求項39 記載の装置。 42.少なくとも1個の上記検知用電極が上記神経組織が通っている上記使用者の 手首に装着するのに適したリストバンドに格納されている請求項39記載の装置 。 43.複数の使用者作動用制御機構を持つ収納装置、上記収納装置内に納められ上 記使用者作動用制御機構に応答する制御器、上記制御器に電気的に接続してあり かつ使用者のある神経組織と連絡していて、上記制御器からの刺激命令に応じて 電気的衝撃によって当該神経を刺激するための刺激器、および上記制御器に電気 的に接続してありかつ上記使用者の上記神経組織と連絡していて、上記神経の上 記電機的衝撃に対する電気的応答を上記制御器からの検知命令に応じて検知しか つ上記電気的応答を上記制御器に提供し、上記使用者の血糖値を決定するため上 記制御器が上記電気的応答に応答する検知器を含むことを特徴とする血糖値モニ ター装置。 44.上記刺激命令と上記検知命令を使用者の測定制御操作に応じて上記制御器が 発生することを特徴とする請求項43記載のモニター装置。 45.上記モニター装置が最大の検知感度を喚起する刺激の強度を決定するため較 正されている間、上記制御器が上記刺激命令と上記検知命令を発生する請求項4 3記載のモニター装置。 46.上記収納装置が少なくともモデム、コンピュータ、記憶装置のひとつに接続 するのに適している請求項43記載のモニター装置。 47.上記収納装置が上記血糖値を視覚的に表示するための表示装置を含むことを 特徴とする請求項43記載のモニター装置。 48.上記収納装置が上記血糖値を聴覚的に指示するためのスピーカーを含む請求 項43記載のモニター装置。
