Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.ライティング光ビームをマスクを介して感光性光導波管の領域に連続的に 露光し、前記マスクに対応する領域を格子に形成する光導波管格子製造方法であ って、前記格子の異なる領域を生成するときに前記導波管に対する前記マスクの 相対位置が変化するように、前記マスク又は前記導波管を移動させる工程を有す る光導波管格子を製造する方法。 2.前記導波管が、光ファイバである請求項1に記載の方法。 3.前記ライティング光ビームが、導波管の一部に沿って長手方向に走査され る請求項1又は2に記載の方法。 4.前記ライティング光ビームが、ほぼ一様な速度で導波管の部分に沿って走 査される請求項3に記載の方法。 5.前記マスク及び導波管の相対的な位置が、現在露出された導波管の領域の 導波管に沿った距離に直線的に関連するように変化する請求項3又は4に記載の 方法。 6.前記マスク及び導波管の直線的な移動が、現在露出された導波管の領域の 導波管に沿った距離の二乗に直線的に関連するように変化する請求項3又は4に 記載の方法。 7.前記マスク及び導波管の相対位置が、ほぼ一様な直線的な速度で変化する 請求項4及び5に記載の方法。 8.前記マスク及び導波管の相対位置が、ほぼ一様な直線的な加速度で変化す る請求項4及び6に記載の方法。 9.前記マスク及び導波管の相対位置が、振動的なディザ成分で変化すること を特徴とする請求項1ないし8のいずれかに記載の方法。 10.前記ディザ成分の大きさが、格子の長さに沿って変化する請求項9に記 載の方法。 11.前記ディザ成分の大きさが、格子の中央領域から長手方向の距離に応じ て増加する請求項10に記載の方法。 12.ライティング光ビームをマスクを介して感光性光導波管の領域に連続的 に露光し、格子の異なる領域を生成するときに前記導波管に関する前記マスクの 相対位置が変化するように、前記マスク又は導波管を移動させる工程により製造 される光導波管格子。 13.ライティング光ビームをマスクを介して感光性光導波管の領域に連続的 に露光する手段と、格子の異なる領域を生成するときに前記導波管に関するマス クの相対位置が変化するように、前記マスク及び導波管の少なくとも一方を移動 させる手段とを有する光導波管格子の製造装置。
