切断された断裁紙を半分に折り畳む折胴と、前記重ね胴
および前記折胴に相接する位置に配設され、前記重ね胴
で重ね合わせた断裁紙を受け取る経路と前記折胴によっ
て形成された二つ折りの折り丁を受け取る経路に選択的
に切り替え可能な駆動経路を有する受け渡し胴と、この
受け渡し胴から排出されてくる印刷物を搬送して機外に
排出する排紙手段とを備えたので、クラッチで駆動経路
を切り替えることによって、シート出しも二つ折りの折
り出しもできるので、多様性に富み用途が拡大する。ま
た、本発明の折機には、針装置を設けていないので、シ
ート出しのほか二つ折りの印刷物の縁部にも輪転機特有
の針穴が生じないことから、印刷物の品質を高めるとと
もに後処理機器に断裁機が不要であり、納期の短縮化と
生産性の向上に多大の効果がある。上記第1断裁手段を
のこ胴と、受け胴を兼ねる上記重ね胴とで構成し、上記
第2断裁手段をのこ胴と、受け胴を兼ねる上記折胴で構
成したので、それぞれの受け胴が不要となり、通紙経路
が短縮され、紙案内ベルトも簡素化されることから、よ
りコンパクトな構造が得られる。
