Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fabric for apparel capable of readily producing a shape stabilized textile product hardly causing the condition of a dress getting old and out of shape and hardly wrinkling by weaving a low-melting yarn and another yarn under specific conditions. SOLUTION: This fabric for apparel is obtained by using a low-melting yarn such as a polyvinyl chloride yarn or the like as a weft or as every other warp and every other weft and weaving the low-melting yarn and another yarn. Preferably the fabric for apparel is constituted by knitting the low-melting yarn in a ground knitted texture of knitted fabric. Preferably the shape stabilized textile product is produced by cutting and sewing the fabric for apparel, then thermally forming the fabric at a temperature exceeding the melting point of the low-melting yarn.

[0003] Woven fabrics and knits (knitted fabrics) are used as materials for this fiber product, and blades (braided flat braids) are often used as materials for hats and the like. By the way, among the material fabrics such as clothes and hats, fabrics made by weaving cotton, hemp, or yarns having a higher blending ratio of such fibers are particularly wrinkled. For this reason, the woven fabric is resin-processed (wrinkle-preventing process) to make it hard to wrinkle. Resin processing is also applied to high-density blends of synthetic fibers, which are relatively hard to wrinkle, in order to provide more complete wrinkle resistance.Recently, advanced form stability for cutter shirts etc. Processing (wash and wear processing, permanent processing, etc.) is also applied.

The method of improving wrinkle prevention by resin processing or the like involves a complicated fabric manufacturing process and has problems in productivity and cost. In addition, the form stability function by resin processing or special processing often does not last for a long time, for example, it gradually disappears due to cleaning or the like.

Although knits are less likely to wrinkle than woven fabrics, they have the disadvantage that they are easily deformed, but it is difficult to give the knits a shape-retaining function by resin processing for wrinkle prevention.

Further, in the case of a hat blade called Sanada for hats, hemp, which is the strongest among natural fibers, is often used as a material, but hats made of hemp blades are folded when folded small. Is left and the appearance deteriorates. In addition, when hemp gets wet with water, the waist becomes weak (flexible) and the product is easily deformed.

The low-melting-point yarn contained in the apparel fabric and the blade of the present invention undergoes plastic deformation during thermoforming according to the manufacturing method of the present invention, and then cools and hardens to maintain the formed shape. Further, at the time of thermoforming, the low-melting-point yarn adheres to other yarns, so that the yarns are heat-fixed to each other, which also improves the shape retention. Therefore, the product is hardly wrinkled, and the shape of the product is hardly deformed.

The weft yarn 4 and the warp yarn 5 are made of a thermoplastic resin having a lower melting point than other yarns to be woven together, for example, polyvinyl chloride, vinylon, acryl, polypropylene,
A thread formed of acetate, polyurethane, or the like is used. The weft 4 and the warp 5 of the low melting point yarn may be monofilaments, but when the yarns 3 and 6 are formed of a thermoplastic resin, it is necessary to select a material resin having a lower melting point.

The woven fabric 2 of FIG. 2 needs to weave two weft yarns, that is, a normal weft yarn 6 and a low melting point weft yarn 4 alternately. Although it is troublesome, this form of yarn is the most excellent in the function of form stabilization obtained after thermoforming.

FIG. 3 shows a knit according to a third embodiment. This knit 7 is knitted on both sides using a normal knitting yarn 8 and a knitting yarn 9 of a low melting point (which has a lower melting point than the knitting yarn 8). It has become. Knits are originally less likely to wrinkle than woven fabrics,
It is easier to lose shape than woven fabric. However, the example knit 7
When subjected to thermoforming, the shape retention of the low-melting-point yarn 9 occurs, so that the shape is less likely to collapse and wrinkles are less likely to occur.

FIG. 4 shows an example of a hat made of the material of the present invention. The fabric used for this hat 10 is
A woven fabric 1 in which the surface is raised after cedar weaving of a natural fiber warp and a low-melting-point polyvinyl chloride weft,
The cloth is cut and sewn into a required shape, and further, using a molding die, heat is generated at a temperature higher than the melting point of polyvinyl chloride to prepare the hat 10. Even if this hat 10 is folded small and stored in a bag or a pocket of clothes, if it is taken out and opened to its original state, the folds disappear naturally and the appearance does not deteriorate.

As described above, according to the present invention, the low melting point yarn is deformed by incorporating the low melting point yarn into the material for the apparel and the braid made of the material and thermoforming the product made of the cloth and the braid. In addition, since the product is attached to another yarn, the dimensional stability of the product can be easily increased without increasing the cost.
