Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support furniture fallen at the time of an earthquake by a frame main body and safely protect a sleeping person on a bed main body by separating a bed into the frame main body and the bed main body and supporting only the bed main body so that the bed main body may be lowered at the time of the earthquake. SOLUTION: Pipes and legs (frame main body) of a bed and a bottom plate and a mat 1 (bed main body) of the bed are separated. The frame main body is made to support the bed main body by four legs constituted of hinges 4 at three places. Because the intermediate hinge 4 bends inward when an earthquake occurs, the bed main body is lowered. As a result, fallen furniture and broken beams are supported by the surrounding frame main body and a sleeping person can be safely protected.
