Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the appearance of a lighting fixture for a vehicle when a lamp is lit and not lit. SOLUTION: A lighting fixture 1 for a vehicle is provided with a lens mounting leg 3 installed in the outer circumference of an outer lens 2, a light transmission part 31 mounted in a proper region from the surface of the lens 2a of the lens mounting leg 3 to a housing 4 so as to curve toward the inside of the outer lens, and a day lighting part 32 arranged at the forward end part of the housing side of the light transmission part 31 and at the inside of the light transmission part 31. In this constitution, the reflecting surface 41 installed on the housing 4 reflects external light and light source light, and the reflected light is introduced into the lens mounting leg 3 by the day lighting part 32 and then transmitted by the light transmission part 31 to be emitted outward from the lens surface 2a. This can prevent the generation of a dark part on the lens surface 2a.

According to the present invention, as a specific means for solving the above-mentioned conventional problems, the outer lens is fixed to a housing in the vicinity of an outer peripheral edge of the outer lens substantially orthogonal to the lens surface. A lens mounting leg for the vehicle, wherein the lens mounting leg is provided at a position of the outermost periphery of the outer lens, and a distance from the lens surface of the lens mounting leg to the housing as a base point. A light guide section that curves toward the inside of the outer lens is provided in an appropriate range, and a light-receiving section that introduces light into the light guide section is located at an end on the housing side of the light guide section and on the inner surface side. It is also possible to solve the problem by providing a vehicular lamp, wherein the housing is provided with a reflecting surface for reflecting light from the light source and external light toward the lighting unit. It is.

FIG. 4 shows still another embodiment of the present invention. This embodiment is an example in which the present invention is applied to a vehicle lamp 1 for lighting such as a headlamp. When the present invention is applied to a headlamp or the like, the housing 4 may be provided with a light reflecting surface. However, since the outer lens 2 may have high transparency, the housing 4 is usually provided with a reflecting mirror 8 and an extension. It is often concealed by the so-called decorative frame 9 and is sometimes difficult to implement.

As described above, according to the present invention, the lens mounting leg is provided at the position of the outermost periphery of the outer lens, and the lens mounting leg is set at an appropriate range from the lens surface of the lens mounting leg to the housing. Is provided with a light guide portion curved toward the inside of the outer lens, and guides light source light and external light reaching the light reflection surface provided on the housing at a position on the housing side end of the light guide portion on the inner surface side. The exterior lighting and the light source light are reflected by the light reflecting surface provided on the housing, and the reflected light is introduced into the lens mounting leg by the lighting unit. And, by guiding the light with the light guide part and radiating it to the outside from the lens surface, the part of the outer lens where the lens mounting legs were provided on the back of the lens surface looks dark, which makes the viewer uncomfortable. Give rise To eliminate the have the problems that a thing, in which exhibits the excellent effect in improving the appearance of this kind of vehicle lamp.
