Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a vehicular lamp for illumination provided in a vehicle such as an automobile.
2. Description of the Related Art A vehicular lamp such as a headlamp is configured by disposing a bulb and a reflector in a housing (lamp body) whose opening end is covered with a lens. Further, a configuration is known in which an extension is provided to cover the peripheral edge portion (end surface) of the housing and the reflector from the lens side so that the peripheral edge portion (end surface) is not exposed through the lens (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
However, since the conventional technology as described above has a fixing structure in which the extension is inserted into the seal groove of the housing and bonded thereto, in other words, since it has a seal groove protruding from the outer periphery of the housing, It was difficult to further reduce the gap and the dummy portion, and there was a limit to improving the appearance.
An object of the present invention is to obtain a vehicular lamp that can improve the appearance in consideration of the above facts.
In order to achieve the above object, a vehicular lamp according to a first aspect of the present invention is characterized in that a member peripheral portion facing the lens side in the housing is disposed between the housing and a lens covering the opening of the housing. The vehicle lamp is provided with an inner member that covers from the side, and an outer peripheral portion of the inner member is fixed to an opening end portion of the housing by laser welding.
In the vehicle lamp according to claim 1, the inner member whose outer peripheral portion is fixed to the opening end portion of the housing has a peripheral portion facing the lens side in the housing (for example, an opening end surface of the housing itself or a built-in component such as a reflector). Since the peripheral edge and the like are covered from the lens side, no gap is formed between the outer peripheral edge of the inner member and the housing, and the appearance is good. And since an inner member and a housing are fixed directly by laser welding, it becomes possible to set it as the structure which does not provide the junction part which protrudes in the outer peripheral side like the conventional seal groove in a housing. If comprised in this way, the magnitude | size of a dummy part and the clearance gap with a vehicle body can be made small, and appearance improves.
Thus, in the vehicular lamp according to the first aspect, the appearance can be improved. Note that the term “circumference” (character) used in this specification is not limited to a circular shape, but is used to mean an endless continuous portion.
According to a second aspect of the present invention, there is provided the vehicular lamp according to the first aspect, wherein a portion of the outer peripheral portion of the inner member that is different from the portion fixed to the housing is laser welded to the peripheral portion of the lens. It is fixed at.
In the vehicle lamp according to the second aspect, since the lens is fixed to the inner member, it is not necessary to join the lens and the housing. For this reason, it can be set as the structure which does not expose a housing (an outer peripheral part rather than the inner member in) through a lens, and the appearance of a vehicle lamp is improved further.
The vehicular lamp according to a third aspect of the present invention is the vehicular lamp according to the second aspect, wherein a first weld portion in which an inner peripheral surface of the housing abuts on an outer peripheral surface of the inner member; A second welded portion with which a peripheral surface abuts, and the inner member is welded to the housing by laser light transmitted through the housing and irradiated to the first welded portion, and the lens And is welded to the lens by laser light that is irradiated to the second welded portion.
In the vehicle lamp according to claim 3, the inner peripheral surface of the housing is laser-welded to the first welded portion formed on the outer peripheral surface of the inner member, and the second welded portion formed on the outer peripheral surface of the inner member. The inner peripheral surface of the lens is laser welded. Since the laser beam used for laser welding passes through the housing and the lens and is irradiated to the first welding portion and the second welding portion, in other words, the laser beam is irradiated from the outside of the vehicle or the like. Work is easy. Further, it is possible to perform welding of the inner member and the housing, and the inner member and the lens at the same time.
The vehicular lamp according to a fourth aspect of the present invention is the vehicular lamp according to any one of the first to third aspects, wherein the resin-made fender panel constituting the automobile body has an end surface as an end surface of the lens. It is fixed in contact with
In the vehicular lamp according to a fourth aspect of the present invention, a fender panel that is a component part of an automobile body is fixed, and an end face of the fender panel and an end face of the lens are abutted against each other. Thereby, there is no gap between the fender and the lens, and the appearance is further improved. In particular, in the configuration in which the fender and the lens form a continuous curved surface, the appearance is further improved.
According to a fifth aspect of the present invention, in the vehicular lamp according to the fourth aspect, the fender panel is fixed to the lens or the housing by laser welding.
In the vehicular lamp according to the fifth aspect, since the fender panel is fixed to the lens or the housing, that is, the member constituting the outer shell of the lamp by laser welding, this welding work is easy.
According to a sixth aspect of the present invention, there is provided a vehicular lamp according to a sixth aspect of the present invention, wherein a lens that is fixed to a housing and covers an opening of the housing is provided with a protruding portion that protrudes to the outer peripheral side, and an end surface of the protruding portion constitutes an automobile body And it was made to contact | abut to the edge part of the fender panel fixed to the said lens or a housing.
In the vehicular lamp according to claim 6, the overhanging portion protrudes from the outer edge portion of the lens fixed directly or indirectly to the housing, and the end surface of the overhanging portion comes into contact with the end portion of the fender panel. . Thereby, there is no gap between the fender panel and the lens, and the appearance is improved. In particular, in the configuration in which the fender and the lens form a continuous curved surface, the appearance is further improved. Further, when the lens is provided with a fixing portion that is fixed to the housing inside the fender panel, the fixing portion between the lens and the housing (or inclusion) is not exposed to the outside, and the appearance is further improved.
As described above, the vehicular lamp according to the present invention has an excellent effect that the appearance can be improved.
(First embodiment)
A
FIG. 2 is a perspective view showing a schematic configuration of the front portion of the automobile body S, and FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view taken along line 1-1 of FIG. As shown in FIG. 2, the
As shown in FIG. 1, the
An
The
In the first embodiment, the
A rear end portion of the outer
The
Laser welding is used for these weldings. The
The
Next, the operation of the first embodiment will be described.
In the

The above-described improvement in appearance will be further described while comparing with the comparative example shown in FIG. First, the configuration of the
In the
In addition, the
Thus, in the
Here, in the
Next, another embodiment of the present invention will be described. Note that components / parts that are basically the same as those of the first embodiment or the previous embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals as those of the first embodiment or the previous embodiment, and description thereof is omitted.
(Second Embodiment)
FIG. 3 shows a headlamp 40 according to a second embodiment of the present invention in a cross-sectional view corresponding to FIG. As shown in this figure, the
The materials of the
In the headlamp 40 described above, the
Note that supplementing the dummy portion, in the headlamp 40, there is no dummy portion corresponding to the dummy portion D1 of the comparative example shown in FIG. 6 (this is the same as the headlamp 10), and it corresponds to the dummy portion D2. There is no dummy part to perform. This is because the
Further, in the headlamp 40, since the welded portions of the
(Third embodiment)
FIG. 4 shows a
A
The
The welding between the
In the
In the
Further, in the
(Fourth embodiment)
FIG. 5 shows a
Further, in the
Further, the
In the
In the
Further, in the
