Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent danger by detecting overheat of a spray can or a cloth in front of a fan heater immediately. SOLUTION: An infrared sensor 3 is fixed, while directing forward, to the vicinity of a hot air outlet 2 made at a lower front part of a fan heater body 1. When the sensor 3 detects a high temperature object of a specified temperature or above, operation of the fan heater is interrupted or combustion thereof is reduced by the detected output. Since the temperature of an object is detected directly, danger can be detected easily and accurately regardless of difference in the temperature rise rate or arriving temperature due to difference in the distance from the fan heater or the material of the object.

2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, fan heaters have been equipped with a safety device against overheating and falling, and there is no danger of burns even if they are touched. Since the outlet is located at the lower part of the front surface of the main body and the warm air travels along the floor surface and warms from the feet, there is an advantage that extremely ideal heating of head and foot heat can be obtained.

However, since the fan heater has a structure in which hot air blows out along the floor, a container containing a liquefied gas such as a spray can is placed on the floor in front of the fan heater. In such a case, there is a risk that the temperature of the can will rise excessively due to hot air and cause an explosion. If a person is too close to the hot air outlet and does not notice it, the clothes may be overheated. . Therefore, the present invention solves such a problem, and when a spray can or clothing is overheated in front of the fan heater,
It is an object of the present invention to provide a fan heater capable of detecting this immediately and preventing danger.

In the fan heater according to the present invention, as shown in FIG. 1, an infrared sensor 3 is mounted forward in the vicinity of a hot air outlet 2 provided at a lower portion of a front surface of a fan heater body 1. When the infrared sensor 3 detects a high-temperature object having a certain temperature or higher, the operation of the fan heater is stopped or the combustion amount is turned down by the detection output.

The purpose of using the infrared sensor 3 is to detect only a high-temperature object without responding to visible light. However, in an object exposed to hot air, the temperature rises as quickly as a metal can. Some items, or items such as clothing, whose temperature rises slowly. Further, when the distance from the fan heater is far and near, the speed of temperature rise and the temperature reached differ. The present invention focuses on the fact that if the temperature of the object is directly detected in any case, the danger can be detected relatively accurately, and after detecting the distance to the object and the object. It is characterized in that it is not necessary to measure the elapsed time or the like, and an overheated object can be easily and immediately detected.

The fan heater main body 1 has a front plate with a hot air outlet 2 at the center and left and right along the upper side thereof. An infrared sensor 3 is attached, and when one of these infrared sensors 3 detects a high-temperature object having a temperature equal to or higher than a set temperature, the operation of the fan heater is stopped by the detection output. According to the present invention, as described above, the infrared sensor 3
Since the operation of the fan heater is stopped when a high-temperature object having a certain temperature or higher is detected, it is possible to prevent a danger that the temperature of the spray can or the like explodes due to an excessive rise in temperature. It also has the advantage of detecting the temperature of the object directly instead of detecting the presence of the object or the distance to the object. Therefore, the temperature rise due to the difference in the distance from the fan heater or the material of the object There is an advantage that the danger can be easily and accurately detected irrespective of the speed and the temperature reached.
